Kim is active with the American Staffing Association (ASA), participating in the Women in Leadership Council, The Mentor/Mentee Program, former Chair of the Direct Hire Council and a 2023 advisor to the Women’s Business Colloraberative’s (WBC) Staffing Workstream. 


Kim is active in her community as a board member with SHIP (Student Homeless Initiative Partnership), is a volunteer dive coach for her son’s highschool and a committee member of BoyScout Troop 278. Prior to joining MeeDerby, Kim spent 15 years with Spherion in leadership and revenue driving roles across multiple staffing verticals.

Jim Hunter is the Chief Executive Officer & Founder at PeopleBest based in Villa Park, California. As founder and chief executive officer, Jim Hunter is responsible for the vision of providing insights and well-being into people that advance their personal and professional lives.


Before launching PeopleBest, Jim was on the senior management team of two technology start-ups as executive vice president of sales; enfrastructure (now TechSpace, $100 million+ start-up, funded by IBM, Microsoft, Avaya and others) which streamlined business operations for new companies and Change.com ($20 million start-up by eCompanies), where he built the company into the nation’s largest business-to-business search market-maker prior to its acquisition by Business.com.
